4DSP: 4DSP Acquired By Abaco Systems

Austin-based 4DSP, a developer of high speed digital signal processing and data acquisition products, has been acquired by Abaco Systems, in a deal advised by Austin-based merger and acquisition advisory firm Navidar. The deal had been announced earlier in November by 4DSP and Abaco Systems. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. 4DSP serves the aerospace, defense, biomedical, communications and semiconductor markets, developing commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) digital signal processing and data acquisition products on its own FPGA technology. As part of the acquisition 4DSP's CEO, Pierrick Vulliez, and the rest of the company's team, become part of Abaco. 4DSP had been founded in 2004.
