901D: Local defense contractor inks $132M deal to buy warship systems manufacturer

Davidson-based Curtiss-Wright Corp. has inked a $132 million deal to buy 901D, a New York state shipboard electronic systems manufacturer. Curtiss-Wright (NYSE: CW) CEO David Adams says the purchase of 901D will fit with the company's plan to continue to take advantage of the U.S. naval fleet expansion.
