ABARTA: Abarta expands Coca-Cola territory across state

O'Hara-based Abarta Coca-Cola Beverages has acquired 12 sales and distribution facilities/territories across Pennsylvania from the Coca Cola Co. The deal makes Abarta the beverage giant's 10th-largest franchise in the U.S. Abarta has transitioned more than 1,250 employees, including 342 in the Pittsburgh area, and will invest $10 million annually in facilities throughout the commonwealth.
