Absolute Radio: Bauer Media's Absolute Radio announced as the first UK radio station to launch on Apple TV

Bauer Media's Absolute Radio is set to become the first UK radio station to launch on Apple TV.The national radio station will have its own app on Apple's streaming platform which launched its latest version in October.The app will feature all seven Absolute Radio stations and allows users to see who's on air, what's coming up and what's just been played.An integrated national campaign will coincide with the release of the app, promoting the radio station's message of 'Real Music Matters'. The campaign will encompass on-air programming, station imaging and experiential live events. It will be showcased across outdoor sites throughout the UK as well as an extensive digital display and social outreach across Facebook and Twitter.Clare Baker, Absolute Radio marketing director, said the campaign has been "inspired by many of the artists who we've spoken to and their passion for real music".She added: "This campaign is fully integrated across outdoor and digital and is further celebrated with on-air and live music events, while our Apple TV launch continues to strengthen the distribution of our brand."The outdoor 'Real Music Matters' campaign, bought by Starcom MediaVest Group, with creative by Thinkfarm, will go live in the new year with the Apple TV launch expected in early 2016.
