Technical consultants Rejlers and Aecom have together won an assignment from the Swedish Transport Administration within the framework of the Southeast Link, a strategic initiative to strengthen the rail network in southern Sweden. This is stated in a press release. The assignment concerns the design of a new meeting track on the Blekinge coastal railway, between Olofström and Mörrum in Karlshamn municipality. Rejlers is responsible for producing a railway plan including an environmental impact assessment, system documentation and tender documents for the procurement of a turnkey contract. The work also includes the investigation of alternative track locations, technical solutions and the handling of the necessary permits. The assignment is carried out in collaboration with Aecom, on behalf of the Swedish Transport Administration. - "We are proud to contribute to the development of Swedish rail infrastructure through this strategically important project.
