ARLINGTON, Va.-The American Foundation for the Blind (AFB) has announced the launch of its AFB Scholars Program, which the organization said aims to provide substantial scholarships for students who are blind in the United States. The scholarship application period opened on February 10, 2025 with a deadline of March 21, 2025. "The AFB Scholars program offers a transformative opportunity for blind students," said Eric Bridges, AFB president and CEO. "These new scholarships will turn the dreams of many exceptional students into reality for years to come."
AFB is a Virginia-based non-profit organization that provides services including rehabilitation and employment support for individuals with visual impairments.
