Affiniti: Affiniti Names General Counsel

Austin-based broadband services provider Affiniti said this week that it has named Cynthia Schultz as the company's new General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Schultz was previously Director of Compliance and Audits for the Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP) at the National Telecommunications & Information Administration (NTIA), and also served at law firm Patton Boggs, LLP; she also had been at the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) and MCI, in addition to serving as a litigator for the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Division.
