Airbus confirmed on April 7 that EVA Air had finalized a firm order for six A350-1000s and three A321neos. The Taiwanese airline had revealed this agreement last March, specifying that the aircraft were sourced from the conversion of purchase rights it had secured during a previous order, signed in January 2024. It had then specified that the A321neos would be delivered starting from 2029 and the A350-1000s from 2031. They will enable the airline to modernize its fleet. Now, EVA Air's order book with Airbus stands at 24 A350-1000s and 18 A321neos. It is also awaiting delivery of thirteen 787s.
