I really had hoped to have all these photos taken yesterday and this posted much earlier than this evening. Unfortunately I woke up to work and ended up wiping my hard drive and starting over. It took care of some issues I was having. Unfortunately the process ate up a lot of time. I also lost some of my editing workflow I have created so that was a little disappointing. It worked out though because we spent a lot of the day out of the house today. We enjoyed fall. I usually wake up and have this little boy in the kitchen where he either picks through all the available fruit on the counter or gets the bag of carrots out of the fridge and begins eating. Today it was clementines. He makes a mess, but it keeps him occupied and happy while I get breakfast. After breakfast we headed out for our nature walk. We spent the morning enjoying the woods. The afternoon came and we headed to Uncle John's Cider Mill for cider, donuts, and the annual photos I take of them every year in the orchard. I have been doing this for 4 years now. I love seeing them grow. He was bored waiting to go out and play while we were in the big barn eating our donuts and cider. Finally we made it outside for them to play. My sweet girl has learned the art of pretend. I love watching it. She was leaving on a train ride and giving her dad one last kiss before she left. It was a great day to celebrate fall. I hope everybody has a wonderful weekend enjoying these nice warm sunny days and the beautiful colors. Stop over to these wonderful lady's blogs to see their 10 on 10 for the month.
