In addition to your car no longer cooling your car may be developing a problem if you notice excessive noise. When an air conditioning system is having problems there are a few common couplets that may be causing the glitch.Another symptom of an impending issue is a foul smell when you turn on your unit. During the winter when the air conditioning is not being used germs can enter your system and grow quickly, leading to a problem. Also watch out for moisture that may have gotten into you're A/C system which can lead to a breakdown as well. When you have noticed moisture or smells you may be dealing with a growth of germs-this problem can be flushed out of your system if diagnosed and handled on the early end.Another common issue is a blocking of the air condenser. This is where the air will not cool because of some restriction and in this case you will either need a flush of the system or if the condenser is worn, you may need a new condenser.If the air condenser is not an issue you may be looking at a refrigerant or air compression malfunction. Low refrigeration or refrigerant leaks can be common when the air conditioning is having problems but those can easily be identified and fixed by a professional. When your vehicle has air compressor issues then the system is not being properly pressurized and the air will not cool.
