I'll say it. When it comes to test automation, not every test case should be automated. It may initially seem like a good idea to automate everything. After all, test automation promises to save time and money, right? But what you'll quickly come to see, and what we repeatedly tell our clients, is that automating some test cases will yield more efficiency than automating others. Automating certain test cases may yield no real benefit, only wasting the very time and money that you were looking to save in the first place.
