Amerequip: Amerequip launches expansion this month to add 100 jobs

Amerequip Corp. has begun a $7.7 million expansion of its plant in Kiel, on the border of Calumet and Manitowoc counties, where it plans to add more than 100 jobs. The company launched the first phase of the project, intended to consolidate Amerequip’s welding operations into a state-of-the-art facility, earlier this month. Overall, the first and second phases of the 100,000-square-foot expansion are expected to be completed this fall, according to a press release from Gov. Scott Walker's office.…
