American HomePatient: Lincare tops 1 million patients with latest deal

Lincare Holdings Inc. has finalized a purchase that it says strengthens its position in the market for home care. The company bought American HomePatient Inc., a Brentwood, Tennessee-based company that specializes in respiratory therapies to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and obstructive sleep apnea.
