Athens Federal: CapStar's biggest deal yet clears first hurdle

Executives with Nashville-based CapStar Financial Holdings Inc. began the holiday weekend with even more celebrate. Last week, CapStar (Nasdaq: CSTR) shareholders overwhelmingly endorsed the bank's $113 million acquisition of Athens Federal Community Bank, headquartered an hour outside of Chattanooga, according to documents filed with U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission.
