AUM: RealPage Buys American Utility Management

Richardson-based RealPage announced this morning that it has acquired "substantially all" of the assets of American Utility Management (AUM), a company which provides utility and energy management products for the multifamily housing industry. RealPage said the deal is worth approximately $70M. AUM had approximately $30M in revenues for the year ended December 31, 2016, and RealPage said it expects the acquisition to contribute $15M in revenue and EBITDA of $2 to $3M for 2017. AUM was founded in 1994. AUM was advised by Houlihan Lokey in the sale.
