AVEO: Opioid drugs row: Aveo Pharma claims to have due licences

Aveo Pharmaceuticals, a Mumbai-based drugmaker, faces regulatory scrutiny for exporting addictive opioid drugs to West Africa. Despite claims of having proper licenses, the central and Maharashtra drug administrations have issued notices to stop production. The company is also involved in various other businesses, including construction and film production, under the Al Arabi group.
