Conewago Recreation Trail
Because of Pennsylvania's rich history of railroading and industrial heritage, our state has dedicated itself to converting its abandoned railroad lines into greenway trails for recreational use. Located north of Elizabethtown, what was once a 5-mile section of the Cornwall-Lebanon rail line has since been converted into the Conewago Recreation Trail. The level surface is ideal for hiking, jogging, horseback riding, cross-country skiing in the winter, and biking.
