Baker Cheese: Baker Cheese breaks ground on expansion project

Baker Cheese Factory Inc. in Fond du Lac County is expanding and modernizing its production with a $7 million investment in new equipment. The expansion of the private label string cheese producer in the village of St. Cloud is expected to create 40 jobs upon completion in October 2016. The Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. has authorized up to $800,000 in tax credit assistance over three years in support of the project. Read more at Wisconsin Ag Connection.
