Base Engineering: Harbour Group unit buys Canadian control equipment manufacturer

Marshall Excelsior Co., part of St. Louis-based Harbour Group, has acquired BASE Engineering Inc. of Canada. Terms were not disclosed. BASE, based in St. John, New Brunswick, designs and manufactures remote, automated emergency shutdown and operational controls for the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and refined fuels indsutries.
