VAUGHAN, Ontario-Approximately one month after a voluntary recall of intraocular lenses (IOLs) on its enVista platform, global eye health company Bausch + Lomb Corporation (NYSE/TSX: BLCO) has announced that it has identified the event that led to the recall, and, now that the cause and affected lots have been confirmed, the company will be returning these models to market. Full production of all enVista IOLs has resumed, the announcement stated, with enhanced inspection protocols for IOLs, more explicit standards and new processes in place.
