The Federal Savings Bank signed an agreement to acquire Baytree National Bank & Trust Co. of Lake Forest, Ill., further boosting its presence in northern Illinois. Formerly known as Generations Bank, The Federal Savings Bank was acquired out of the bankruptcy of Brooke Corp. in April 2011 and soon became one of the fastest-growing banks in the nation.
