BidSync: Periscope Holdings buys Utah-based software maker

Software maker Periscope Holdings Inc. has acquired a Utah company specializing in public contract procurement. Austin-based Periscope completed the deal with BidSync Inc. on Monday. Financial terms of the transaction are undisclosed. Periscope Holdings, which was founded in 2001, develops public procurement software. It employs 56 workers, a company spokeswoman said.
