BITS: Thrilled to BITS as Computacenter acquires $245m revenue US business

Hertfordshire-based tech company Computercenter plc has paid an undisclosed sum to acquire one of the fastest-growing value-added resellers in the US -Business IT Source (BITS). BITS employs around 100 people and has a HQ and integration centre in Buffalo Grove, Illinois - around 45 mins from downtown Chicago. BITS reported revenue in 2021 of some $245 million with EBIT of circa $8.9m.The existing BITS leadership team will stay to run the business as a separate operating unit within Computacenter United States to maximise the growth opportunity.
