Bombardier has strengthened its customer service capabilities in Australia by opening a new line maintenance station (LMS) in Perth, further enhancing its regional support network. This new facility expands Bombardier 's global LMS network to ten locations, providing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance services, including aircraft on ground (AOG) support. A second Australian LMS is also planned for Sydney later this year, underscoring Bombardier's commitment to the region. The Perth LMS is staffed by certified technical engineers qualified to maintain all Bombardier Learjet, Challenger, and Global series aircraft. These professionals will deliver light maintenance services and assist with urgent AOG situations, ensuring efficient and timely support for customers in Western Australia. In addition to the new station, Bombardier operates mobile response trucks in Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney, offering flexible on-location maintenance assistance. The Perth opening follows the launch of Bombardier's Melbourne Service Centre in September 2022. This modern facility boasts nearly 50,000 ft² of hangar and ramp space and is equipped to accommodate up to three Global 7500 aircraft simultaneously, offering significant maintenance capacity close to home for Australian operators. Bombardier's Services and Support division maintains a robust global infrastructure, including extensive personnel and supply chain networks capable of supporting all aircraft models. Distribution hubs in Chicago, Frankfurt, Singapore, and Hong Kong ensure reliable global access to parts. Additionally, Bombardier keeps a large inventory of spare parts at the Melbourne Service Centre to serve local customers efficiently. With the addition of the Perth LMS, Bombardier reinforces its long-term commitment to the Australian market, building on its global network of ten service centres and 50 mobile response and unscheduled maintenance team units worldwide. The expansion provides customers with greater maintenance options, increased flexibility and access to OEM expertise across the country.
