You wrestle that baby on to the couch, then by chance you meet her eyes - she's whining and getting ready to storm - and then?Who knows WHERE it comes from, or when you can expect another one... but all of a sudden you catch sight of each other, and look into those lovely mischievous eyes - and laugh! And your crazy little person looks at you and laughs back!A CLOTH diaper moment?Now I'm not saying that if you were changing that baby into a disposable diaper, that moment would not be so special.... But isn't there's something so incredibly scrumptious about washing that smelly little person clean with a soft cotton wipe and plain old water, and then putting a fresh, soft organic cotton diaper and wrap on her. Smiling and making faces while you quickly and adeptly fold that diaper up and adjust it into the wrap....He's OFF!Almost done - and she's ready to run! Last snap and she's off! Without a moment to check and make sure it's all right. You'll have to chase her and grab her and snuggle her and check - to make sure it's all tucked in and fastened correctly.It's just one moment, out of many - a little one, an ordinary diaper changing moment. Messy, frazzling, sublime!
