That's the spirit behind the event, but where exactly does the event take place, and how do Subaru lovers participate? It's simple! If you're thinking of buying a Subaru vehicle, November is a wonderful time to buy. If you purchase or lease a new Subaru vehicle during that timespan, Subaru will donate $250 to your favorite charity. Local retailers have the option to add local charities to the list of available charities.
Even servicing a Subaru vehicle can help people during the Share the Love event. If a retailer chooses, they can add a $5 charitable donation for every service visit during the event. That's just one more reason it's time to get into your local Subaru dealership for routine maintenance or renovations on your beloved Subaru.
Subaru's Share the Love Event has been an enormous help to charities for the past 16 years, and the 17th annual event is expected to be one of the biggest and best. Overall, during its 16-year run, the Share the Love Event has donated more than $288 million to causes. Hometown charities are the big winner as well. Over the lifespan of the event, Subaru has helped almost 2,300 hometown charities.
