Caracole, a furniture company that employs 60 people in the Triad and specializes in high-style mid-priced furniture, has named Scott Smith as its new president. Smith, who has more than two decades of experience int he industry, has been serving as president of merchandising for Markor Furnishings Retail, the Chinese retail division of Markor International Home Furnishings.
