Caradigm: GE quietly sells Caradigm to cancer company Inspirata, more than two years after Microsoft pulled out of the joint venture

News Brief: GE Healthcare has sold its shares of Redmond, Wash., based health technology startup Caradigm to Florida-based cancer diagnostic technology creator Inspirata, marking the end of an ambitious joint venture between GE Healthcare and Microsoft. Caradigm makes enterprise technology tools for population health management, or the management of a group's health outcomes. Microsoft pulled out of the venture in April of 2016 and has since ramped up its internal health technology work through its Healthcare NExT and Microsoft Healthcare programs. Former Caradigm CEO Neal Singh has joined tech company Icertis as its COO.
