Carmelcafe: Carmel Kitchen and Wine Bar shutters South Tampa location

Carmel Kitchen and Wine Bar, a modern Mediterranean concept by Alex Sullivan, son of Outback Steakhouse co-founder Chris Sullivan, has closed its South Tampa location. The 4,000-square-foot freestanding restaurant at West Swann Avenue and Henderson Boulevard closed about a month ago, Alex Sullivan said in an email Thursday. "We plan to sell the property," he wrote.
