Causecast: Causecast Acquired By America's Charities

Burbank-based Causecast, which developed an online platform to help employers increase employee engagement with charitable causes, has been acquired by America's Charities, a nonprofit focused on getting employees to support causes they care about. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Causecast was founded and led by CEO Ryan Scott. According to America's Charities, the acquisition will help it further strengthen its support of the "social good" sector. The nonprofit says it has been working as a partner of Causecast since 2015, and has been servicing clients using the Causecast technology for the past four years.
