Cerner: 7 KC companies make Fortune 1000 list; Cerner edges closer to Fortune 500 status

On Monday, Fortune magazine released its latest list of the largest U.S. companies. The Fortune 500 only considers companies that file financial statements with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
