Great buying activity continues onward. James Island, Folly, and Edisto had another great week.The downtown areas 51,52 were also strong.All areas were pretty strong except Johns Island. Prices were very good all over. Mt P and James Island continue to be well over $200/sqft.West Ashley is consistently over $150/sqft. N Chas and the Summerville/Goose Creek areas are usually above $120/sqftWe are consistently seeing about 15-20 each week over $1M.
We do have people leaving the area because of congestion. We are a victim of our own success. 15 years ago, most people didn't hear much about Charleston.The last 5 years of being voted #1 city in the US by Travel and Leisure Magazine has assured us that we're no longer a hidden gem. They found us.
