Global subscription-based meal kit provider Marley Spoon AG has reached an agreement to acquire Australian ready-to-heat meal provider Chefgood, for up to $21 million. Founded by passionate foodies Michelle Sievwright and fine dining chef Susan McKay, Chefgood is a Melbourne-based company that manufactures ready-to-eat meals. It offers over 30 meals that rotate every week across various subscription programs aimed at healthy and weight-conscious customers, as well as a small selection of add-on items.
