The eight nights of Hanukkah are upon us! We hope that you are your little ones are enjoying these eight nights of fun and festivities with loads of games, crafts, good food, and lots of family time. During the holiday season, there can be a lot of down time for the kiddos while the adults are preparing meals or wrapping gifts. If you sense a lull in the day while you are preparing the next Hanukkah family tradition, bust out this fun and festive dreidel craft. What you'll need:cardboard with a matte finish that will allow watercolors to be absorbedwatercolors brushesa jar or plastic container to hold waterCut out a number of dreidel shapes out of the cardboard. You can decide how big or small you'd like them to be. You can also have the older kids draw out their own dreidels and cut them out themselves! For your older children, teach them how to make one and then trace it out on the cardboard so they can make multiples of the same shape.Make sure that the surface your children are painting on is covered with a tablecloth or newspaper so nothing gets messy.Get to painting! If your child plans to make a mobile or hang the dreidel in a window, make sure they paint both sides.Be as creative as you can be and hang them up for the rest of the Hanukkah season.Have a very happy and blessed Hanukkah from all of us here at Children's Home Healthcare.Caring for those who need it most,Children's Home Healthcare**Craft by https://www.creativejewishmom.com
