Sacramento-based S&W Seed Co. has bid $23 million to buy the assets of Chromatin Inc., which include a portfolio agriculture technology related to sorghum. Sacramento-based S&W (Nasdaq: SANW) develops and sells alfalfa, sunflower, sorghum and stevia seeds.
