MagAssemble is an exciting new start-up company/technology platform with lots of potential for a wide variety of Industries and applications. We are trying to help connect our colleagues to as many optical designers as possible to gather input about a new, patented technology they have created called MagAssemble. At a high level, they can design unique shapes and structures on the nanoscale. These shapes and structures can then be transferred to a variety of substrates to make very unique optics that are not possible today (nano diffractive optical elements, gratings, moth eye AR coatings, reduced lens stacks, etc). The technology is ideally suited for low cost, high value prototypes (w/o expensive e-beam lithography). They are seeking optical engineers/designers to create and/or design new optics for the MagAssemble technology platform. In exchange for your input/design, they will provide an actual prototype of your optic or mask for you for free!
