A maintenance worker has died at Citic Pacific Mining's Sino Iron operation, in Western Australia, resulting from injuries sustained from a fall at the mine site on Friday. Citic Pacific said in a statement that the incident occurred at the coarse ore stockpile shed within the concentrator precinct at about 11am. The man was treated by paramedics at the scene and transported to Karratha Health Campus in a critical condition.
