A long and winding road has led to my passion projects on Etsy.I spent 32 years working at CNN and was Executive Producer of Entertainment News until I retired from TV in 2013.I grew up in an expressive, New York Italian family where we celebrated life with laughter, fresh food and gatherings of close friends and family. These warm memories inspired Food for Thought's kitchen products, my flour sack towels and canvas totes, which will bring the beauty of farm-to-market produce and flowers into your home.My newly released eco-friendly products such as silk and wood bracelets, malas and hand painted key chains demonstrate my commitment to our environment. I use cork rather than leather and the beads I use are sourced from sustainable woods.A lover of photography, I've expanded into digital arts. Unless otherwise stated, the images shown on this website have been produced using my personal photographs or have been designed by me.As a cancer survivor, I hold breast and ovarian cancer research and awareness close to my heart. To that end, I've produced some bracelets and key chains in shades of pink, teal or turquoise. In addition, 10% of my revenue on Etsy is donated to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance or to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, which helps fund breast cancer research.I earned my Bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and my M.S. in Learning and Organizational Change from Northwestern University.
