Clearscholar: Civitas Learning Buys ClearScholar

Austin-based education software developer Civitas Learning announced this morning that it has acquired CLearScholar, which develops a personalized student engagement app for the higher education market. Financial details of the buy were not announced. ClearScholar's mobile tools are used by colleges and universities to help guide students in their higher education efforts. ClearScholar was based in Indianapolis, Indiana, and was backed by High Alpha. ClearScholar's CEO was Jason Konesco.
