Compeat: Restaurant365 Acquires Compeat

Irvine-based Restaurant365, which develops restaurant management software, has acquired Compeat, a developer of restaurant back office, workforce, and business intelligence esoftware. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Compeat was based in Austin, Texas. According to Compeat, the newly combined business will be led by Tony Smith, CEO of Restaurant365. Restaurant365 said it was advised by William Blair and Goodwin Procter LLP in the deal; Compeat and its private equity backer, Serent Capital, were represented by Restaurant365. Robert W. Baird & Co and Choate, Hall & Stewart and Polsinelli.
