Connectem: Brocade acquires software company Connectem

Brocade Communications acquired software company Connectem on Monday to bolster growth surrounding traditional mobile data and the Internet of Things. The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it was an all-cash transaction, according to a statement from Brocade. Connectem's latest funding was a venture round back in 2012 for $400,000.
