Daily Paper x Converse Chuck 70 Converse has tapped Amsterdam-based clothing brand Daily Paper for a two-shoe collab arriving next week. Dubbed "Colors of Independence," this collection includes the Chuck 70 and the updated Chuck 70 De Luxe Squared styles, shown here. According to the collaborators, the sneakers pay homage to "global movements for liberation and cultural pride," and are accented in the signature Pan-African hues of red, green, and yellow. Aside from the sneakers, Daily Paper and Converse are releasing a range of matching apparel pieces featuring custom Chuck logos and Daily Paper branding. "We are thrilled to partner with Converse for the Colors of Independence collection, a project that celebrates our collective passion for community and self-expression. This collection is a tribute to the resilience and creativity of youth across the world," Abderrahmane Trabsini, Daily Paper's co-founder and design director, said. This Daily Paper x Converse collection will be released on Oct. 1 via SNKRS, Converse.com, and at select retailers. The sneakers retail for $110 each.
