CREAM: New dessert shop replacing CREAM in Elk Grove

Frozen goodness is returning to the Elk Grove location that ice cream sandwich chain CREAM closed last month. But the new business, called Sweet Puffs Ice Cream, will have a slightly different take on ice cream sandwiches. It will offer ice cream served between pastry puffs, which are similar to doughnuts.
