CST Brands: Done Deal: Couche-Tard acquires CST Brands

The $4.4 billion deal that will see Canadian firm Alimentation Couche-Tard take over San Antonio-based CST Brands Inc. officially closed Wednesday. The Quebec-based convenience store operator, which is best known for its Circle K locations in the U.S., was waiting for final approval from the Competition Bureau in Canada before the deal was complete.
