ABILENE, Texas - Datroo Technologies, an Abilene-based information technology company, has been hired to improve IT and support at McMurry University, according to a news release Wednesday from the university.The move resulted in the layoff of four of the five employees in the university's IT department, according to Daniel Manson, assistant vice president of marketing and communications.McMurry and Datroo began a three-year partnership this spring, when Datroo helped the school improve both network security and its wireless access points, the news release said."It's an opportunity for McMurry to develop a more secure and robust technology infrastructure," Manson said.Read more on NewsOK.com
