The Lovecraft Country actress Jamie Chung and the One Tree Hill alum Bryan Greenberg first met in New York City. After a few years of dating, the couple got married and decided to move over the bridge to Brooklyn. Needless to say, they quickly fell in love with the Fort Greene neighborhood for its tree-lined streets and family-friendly feels. And it was Fort Green's historic and storied city park that became ideal for the couple and their morning walks with their dog Ewok. They also cherished their Saturday morning routine of visiting the local farmers' market and strolling the neighborhood shops. And while their careers had them traveling back and forth to LA and Atlanta, there was a strong gravitational pull to settle down in Brooklyn. They knew they wanted Fort Green to be their permanent home base. After buying their forever apartment, the busy Hollywood couple set out to create a home that would combine both their styles. However, like many busy couples decorating and pulling it all together posed a daunting and time-consuming task. With bi-coastal work schedules, they once again knew they needed interior design help made fast and easy. So they called upon Decorist for the 4th time (read about their LA boho living room, vintage-inspired kitchen, and chic industrial Atlanta loft) to help pull together their new home. The couple collaborated with Decorist Celebrity designer Will Wick on the multi-room project, making over the kitchen, living room, master bedroom, and bathroom. They had worked with him in the past so knew he had the chops to create the "warm and timeless" aesthetic they wanted. Will beautifully interpreted Jamie and Bryan's personal styles using vintage-inspired furniture finds from Bed Bath & Beyond, along with artwork from Zoe Bios Creative. The result? A comfortable, chic environment that's the perfect place to relax and unwind.Read on to see the full design and the inspirations that guided Will each step of the way.The Living RoomYou may recall, Jamie and Bryan's L.A. home was a bit Bohemian. The place has an LA beach cottage feel that worked well with the mid-century bungalow vibe. Their Atlanta condo has a more refined, industrial look that works well with the loft architecture of the building. But for Brooklyn, they wanted their apartment to feel like a combination of the two, and indeed that's what they got! It's not so much Bohemian, but it's still homey and cozy. It's filled with timeless pieces, and everything in New York is a little more elevated. The product assortment at Bed Bath & Beyond meant that Will had options for finding furniture that felt a little more unique. He wanted the design to be fresh and modern but also provoke a sense of history. He anchored the living room with a comfy gray velvet sectional great for relaxing. The eye-catching sculptural tiered coffee table became the real focal point of the room for its edgy modern design. To help illuminate the room, Will added a vintage-inspired overhead light pendant and juxtaposed it with the more modern grasshopper floor lamp. The patterned vintage-looking rug overlay on a large sisal helped to define the seating area while adding some color and texture. Not wanting the space to feel too cold or stark, Will cleverly added wooden accents to soften the overall look of the room. The beautiful wooden sculptural chair and stool perched on the side of the sofa gave the room that Upstate New York feel. And the open bookcase added to the modern design while the perfectly styled shelves gave the space a more collected look. The KitchenThe kitchen is open to the living room and has a functional galley layout which ideal for cooking and also perfect for entertaining. The stone grey pendants play off the dark gray kitchen cabinets and beautiful marble island. The mid-century barstools are stylish with their wooden accent helping to carry over some of those same materials found in the adjacent room. And every home needs a place to set-up a little barware or tray for entertaining. Will included the perfect mid-century console table to do just that. The oversized vintage-inspired table lamp makes the console feel a bit more intimate while softening the overall modern look of the kitchen area. The BedroomThe textured wallpapered accent wall installed by the team at Paintzen paired with the Zoe Bios Creative print creates a stunning backdrop to the bedroom. Will's moody color choice adds a sense of coziness and ties in with the palette from the other central living spaces. The color is the perfect tone-on-tone match with the upholstered headboard. And while we all love a beautiful bed, this one with its channel tufting and mid-century style standouts. The mid-century nightstands in Jamie and Bryan's bedroom combine form and function with their open shelf and deep drawer. Rather than having bedside table lamps, Will chose task-style sconces on either side of the bed. Sconces are a great addition to a bedroom as they help save space while illuminating a particular focal point making it easy to read in bed. The wood 6 drawer dresser with its subtle brass hardware lends a stately chic feel to the bedroom. Paired with the white plastered lamp gives some texture and light to the room. Will added a white leather safari chair as the perfect place for Jamie or Bryan to toss a coat or put on their shoes. The BathroomWill kept going with the same color palette in the bathroom as throughout the house. The side-by-side black framed mirrors, black and brass vanity lighting, and the marble countertop are the highlights of the bathroom. For accessories, he added Zoe Bios Creative artwork, Turkish linen towels, and luxurious gray floor mats.Celebrities like Jamie and Bryan aren't the only ones who can hook a Celebrity interior designer.
