Dema Service: C.H. Robinson buys Italian freight company in second Europe acquisition this year

C.H. Robinson Worldwide Inc. has acquired an Italian freight company in its second European deal of 2019. The Eden Prairie, Minn.-based logistics company announced the purchase Thursday. Representatives of C.H. Robinson declined to disclose the size of the deal. It paid $48 million in cash for the Spanish freight forwarder it acquired in March.
