Diageo: Diageo : sells 54.4% stake in Seychelles Breweries

Diageo announces the sale of its 54.4% stake in Seychelles Breweries to Phoenix Beverages, a subsidiary of the Mauritian group IBL. Diageo retains ownership of the Guinness and Smirnoff RTD brands produced by Seychelles Breweries, which will be operated under license. This strengthened partnership with Phoenix Beverages is in line with Diageo's active portfolio management strategy and its commitment to an efficient operating model in the Indian Ocean islands.
