"An area that is also undergoing rapid growth: in Germany alone, there are currently an estimated 40,000 e-sports groups. The number of active players is in the millions. A look abroad, where large tournaments already fill whole halls with several tens of thousands of spectators, also shows what is possible here."The Playing Ducks from the Lower Saxon town of Peine (www.playing-ducks.com) have around 2,500 members from throughout Europe. The professional teams in the club found in 2009 have already been able to win numerous national and international champion titles, including, for instance, the German Counter-Strike Championship in 2013.
