Dixie Consumer Products: Dixie Cup manufacturer closing Pennsylvania plant, leaving Lehigh Valley after nearly a century

Georgia-Pacific will shut down the Dixie Cup manufacturing plant in Pennsylvania by the end of 2021, the company said. The facility in Forks Township, Northampton County, will be consolidated into a single site in Lexington, Kentucky. Dixie Cups have been manufactured in the Lehigh Valley for nearly a century.
